TruBlue Landscaping began more than 25 years ago when founder CJ Smith was simply earning summer money mowing lawns with friends. In 2019, after growing disillusioned with the corporate world, CJ returned to those roots and officially launched TruBlue Landscaping LLC as a lawn maintenance company focused on mowing.

Over time, TruBlue evolved into a specialized fertilization and weed control company, driven by a deeper understanding of both the synthetic fertilization industry and the principles of organic soil health. While these approaches are often positioned in opposition, we believe each plays an important role. By thoughtfully integrating both, we’re able to deliver healthier lawns and better results for our customers.

From the beginning, our guiding principle has remained the same: to give our customers a true sense of pride in their lawn while delivering services in the safest, most sustainable way possible—for our health and the health of our environment.
